Free golf tournament templates
The paperwork a tournament runs on, designed properly and ready to print. Twelve templates, each as a clean print PDF, a fillable PDF and an editable Word file, in US Letter and A4. No sign-up, no watermark.
These are the sheets organisers end up making in a spreadsheet the night before, in the order you need them: the sponsor package, budget, entry form and rules sheet before the day; the check-in list, start sheet, signs, scorecards, volunteer plan and run sheet on the day; the prize tracker and the sponsor thank-you after it. Each one is laid out for the job it does. They are free to use for any tournament, including commercial ones, and you can take the Parful footer off the Word versions.
The templates match the free planner on the homepage. Plan the field and the start there, then fill in the start sheet from what it gives you. When you are ready to take entries and score live, that part happens in Parful.

Tee and contest signs
Each sign fills a landscape page with type you can read from a cart. The hole sponsor sign has a hole number, par and yardage, and a logo box to drop the sponsor artwork into. The contest signs state the rule and leave a line for the current leader. The welcome sign points players to registration and gives the shotgun time.

How to use them
Printing
Use the print PDF and print at 100 percent, not fit to page, on the paper size you downloaded. Nothing sits closer than 16 mm to the edge, so no printer will clip it. The start sheet and the scorecards are landscape. Scorecards go on card stock if the course will be wet, and three copies of the start sheet: one for the starter, one for registration, one for the pro shop.
Filling in on screen
The fillable PDF has a text field over every blank and a checkbox over every box, so you can type into it in Preview, Acrobat Reader, Chrome or Edge and save. Some viewers tint the fields blue on screen; that tint does not print. Where you need to change the wording, use the Word file.
Editing in Word or Google Docs
The Word files use Georgia and Arial so they look the same on every computer. In Google Docs, upload the file and open it as a Google Doc. The tables keep their layout; if a page spills, trim a row or two rather than shrinking the type.
The waiver
The participation agreement on the registration form is sample wording in plain English, not legal advice. Liability law differs between the US, the UK and Ireland, and between states. Have it checked locally, and ask whether the course or your insurer has a form they prefer.
